Shooting in the Rain

i wanna sell my kit lens which i never use anymore, and think that
it's just taking up space. i wanna get an edelweiss edition lomography
camera by diana, or any of the holga fisheye cameras. just to give it
a try. i know the 18-55mm vr from nikon has its uses, but i'm really not
a big fan of it. getting really spoiled by my 50mm and my 70-300mm's sharpness.
plus i'll be upgrading to a d300 next year anyways so i can't really see the point
of keeping the kit lens. my only worry is, after i sell the nikon lens and get
my holga camera is, will i enjoy it from a first timer's perspective or will i get
more out of the kit lens if i do end up keeping it for a while? it's already posted
on craigslist as we speak, and i've gotten a few responses from my ad.
now the question is this, do you guys think it's worth it? there's a lot more
possibilities with a fisheye lens, and it beats spending just over a $1K for the same
kind of lens for my dslr. i'm kind of torned apart here hahahaha. another problem with
the lomography camera is i have to pay for developing. i dont know anything about dark
rooms, so i'm kind of screwed. any suggestions?

Buy the holga, you'll love the analogue side of photography. You'll surely have a lot of fun. Better yet, maybe it's time to start developing your film!
